1. Eligibility

The "Golden Wedding" is awarded by the City Hall and the Cluj-Napoca Local Council every year, basically the regulation for awarding the "golden diploma" and a financial prize each, in the net amount of 1000 RON, to couples from Cluj who have completed 50 years of uninterrupted marriage.

The eligible couple to benefit from the "golden diploma" and the financial award must cumulatively meet the following conditions:

• a) to have completed 50 years of uninterrupted marriage on the date of submission of the application;
  b) both spouses must be domiciled in Cluj-Napoca;
  c) both spouses must be alive on the date of submission of the application.
